Tapered Ruffles Scarf
I love this scarf so much….it has become a main staple in my wardrobe. Over Thanksgiving my Aunt liked it so much I gave it to her. So I made another one for myself in a little darker color. Pattern is Tapered Ruffles Scarf from Knit Ponchos, Wraps & Scarves by Jane Davis. Yarn is Premier Yarns Coral in Beige.

Tudora
Tudora is a knitted high-collared ruff. This is the first cable project I have ever knitted. It was intimidating for me to attempt cables which is so silly it’s one of easiest stitches ever… just looks complicated. Tudora is a free pattern at Knitty.com by Cheryl Marling. Yarn is Harrisville’s New England Highland 100% Pure Wool in Charcoal that I purchased at Cloverhill Yarn Shop.

Knitted Hat and Scarf
I found two different patterns that matched nicely. The hat is a free pattern called Saturday Afternoon Hat by Julie @ J.Knits. The scarf is also a free pattern at Hank Yarn and Fiber called June is for Jag. They did one scarf a month for the year of 2008. Yarn used is Patons Angora Bamboo in Sienna Bronze. It’s the first time I have used this yarn. The yarn was very easy to work with, soft and blocked nicely. I look forward to working with it again.

White Tree Painting
The last time I painted a large canvas was sometime in 2003. Yesterday Brack and I covered everything in plastic and sheets….spread out paint cans, opened a bottle of wine to spend a day in the basement painting. It was our first day of being able to do what we wanted with no obligations and we had the best time. Here are pictures of my painting.
