I joined an on going group for monochromatic chunky book pages and the first color to work on is blue.  All the pages are 4×4 and are pretty thick.

These are the first chunky book pages I have ever made.

Cyber Fyber Exhibition

My “Icicles N Snow” piece was accepted to trade for “#20” fiber atc in the Cyber Fyber Exhibition.  The trade took place in March 2008 and the gallery is now showing all the pieces from Jan 8th-20th 2009.

To my surprise and delight “Icicles N Snow” was named among the honorable mentions in this event. Here is a link to th site with all its wonderful Cyber Fyber Videos.

Here is a link to a work in progress of the piece.  Hope you make one.

Art Doll Queen Pearis Pantaloon

Yesterday I started to make an art doll for Jan. contest.  She was inspired by a postcard I had made.  The art doll needed to be 10inches tall so several elements were added to get that correct size.  Also made a folder for her,  she is held in by a ribbon.

Hope you enjoy her, she was a lot of fun to create.

Postcard Art for Abby

This postcard was made for Abby.  She is a very sweet girl. Hope she likes her first mail art experience.

My dear friend Laura taught me how to knit about 2 years ago.  I am still learning new stitches but find this the most relaxing hobby.  Over Christmas my friend Jen was making a ruffle scarf that was beautiful.  So of course I had to make one for myself.  This is my first ruffle ever..hehee.

Pattern is Tapered Ruffles Scarf from Knit Ponchos, Wraps & Scarves by  Jane Davis.  Yarn used was Patons Grace 100% Mercerized Cotton in Natural.
